The new Thorlux Atom exit sign is a cast aluminium luminaire with versatile installation options to fulfil escape design schemes.

Significantly, the Atom's use of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology marks a step-change for emergency lighting power. This technology brings advantages such as a longer lifespan, lower energy consumption and a more compact battery cell size.

The minimalist body design suits many applications, with a white finish as standard or an optional black finish for industrial interiors. The 23 m maximum viewing distance is ideal for corridors and escape paths. The maintained downlight provides lighting for points of emphasis located by escape route doors, such as call points, fire equipment and emergency push bars. The dedicated downlight also provides a secondary light source for compartments that require two emergency luminaires to achieve a compliant lighting scheme.
